Umeå municipality's home care service is Umeå's largest provider with the longest experience of personal care and service for users who live in their own homes. In addition to offering supervision, personal care, cleaning and laundry services and, for example, grocery shopping, we also place great value on being a social and safe point. The social interaction is at least as important a key to increased quality of life as the practical services we provide and is therefore a high priority for your municipal home care service. People's participation, self-determination and influence over their lives are fundamental to experiencing dignity and well-being. What does it mean to work in the Pool?
You will be part of a selected, experienced group of assistant nurses who work on a mission-based basis in activities in home care, nursing homes and short-term activities. Your task is to create security, stability and quality - whether you step in during short-term absences, during periods of transition or when units need strengthened structure and working methods.

Multiple positions permanent employment, full time, with access as soon as possible by agreement.
Temporary placement or probationary period may be applied to ensure that the necessary requirements for employment can be met in the form of being able to receive delegation from a nurse.
The pool is available day and evening during all days of the week. Weekend duty is allocated to every third weekend and no split shifts occur.
Heavy lifting occurs, transfer aids should be used. As there may be animals and smoking in the workplace, you should not be allergic.
We check ID on all candidates we interview. Before an offer of employment is made, we will ask you to present an extract from the police criminal record. This is done as a final step in the recruitment process.
