Eriksdal is a municipal care home in Holmsund, Umeå municipality's first star-labeled accommodation. It is located close to nature by the sea with a view of the Ljumviken sea bath. The care home has a beautiful outdoor environment with an enclosed courtyard and an open courtyard with terraces used for pleasant socializing in the summer. We are now looking for two assistant nurses to join our team! Your tasks You will assist our residents with personal care, administer medication to those in need, support with meals and socializing. You will document actions and health conditions. Care needs vary and we work in a person-centered way to help individuals based on their different conditions. As an assistant nurse, you have an important role in providing high-quality care. You will administer medicine and insulin and document daily. You will carry out tasks delegated by a nurse or another profession. Working hours are day, evening and weekend. About you We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse and who have experience of nursing work and in elderly care. Knowledge of dementia and experience of working with people with dementia is an advantage. We attach great importance to personal suitability, educational and empathic ability. You show a great commitment to both users and activities in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professions. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
