Umeå municipality's home care service is Umeå's largest provider with the longest experience of personal care and service. The municipality's home care service provides various forms of support, service and care at home. We are the unit that handles all care services where our users live in their own homes in Umeå municipality. Most of our staff are assistant nurses who we continuously train. The home care service is also responsible for responding to and handling social alarms that occur at night. We are now looking for three new assistant nurses for the home care service at Ersboda! Your work tasks You will carry out planned interventions in the person's own home within the Ersboda home care area. The need and extent of care looks different for our elderly, therefore we work person-centered and support the individual based on the conditions they have. Common tasks are to support in personal care and hygiene, in meal situations, cleaning and socializing. The work also includes giving medicines and documenting health conditions. About you We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse or who have previous experience of care and care. It is an advantage if you have experience of working in home care. As a person, you have high integrity, are responsive, empathetic and you enjoy working independently. You show a great commitment to both users and operations in all relationships and actions. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. In other words, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. A B driving license is a requirement as driving a car is part of the service.
