Umeå Norra short-term center is located on Mariehemsvägen and here we work with recovery and everyday rehabilitation. Our business is to give each resident the best possible support to regain their abilities and be able to live at home for as long as possible.

Your duties
As an assistant nurse with us, you are an important part of each resident's recovery. We work person-centered and see the healthy in the individual - with a focus on preserving and strengthening the abilities that exist.
Your duties include:
- Personal care and hygiene.
- Documentation of measures and health status.
- Contact person assignment where the resident's participation is at the center.
You work closely with colleagues, nurses and rehabilitation staff to ensure high quality care. Transfer aids are always used when transfers and lifting occur.
About you
We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse with experience of working in elderly care. We would like to see that you have experience of medication.
In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
We are looking for you who meet people with empathy, responsiveness and a genuine commitment. You thrive in a role where you take responsibility, collaborate with others and are happy to contribute ideas that develop the business and make a real difference. You have a patient approach and a good attitude in all situations, even when the pace is fast or conditions change quickly. The role also includes contact with various authorities, which means that you work in a structured and thorough manner and feel confident in documentation and follow-up.
