The social services office manages the diary and committee administration for the social committees; the elderly committee and the individual and family committee, committees and collaborative bodies, and provides support to elected representatives and the respective administrative management. The office employs 4 committee secretaries and a registrar. We are now looking for a committee secretary for the Individual and Family Committee. Welcome to an exciting assignment! Your tasks As committee secretary, you will be responsible for the entire case management process for committees and advisory bodies. The main focus of the committee secretary's duties is to support the work of producing committee documents, publishing documents for politicians and the public, taking notes at preparatory meetings, writing notices and minutes for committee meetings and working committees, and dispatching documents. You will mainly work with the Individual and Family Committee. You will also be responsible for convening and taking minutes for the newly established LSS Council. You will also provide support to the elected representatives, the administrative management and its managers in municipal and administrative law matters. As a committee secretary, you are an important link between politicians, citizens and civil servants in the municipality. The work also includes handling administrative tasks linked to the committee, such as assignments from the committee to the administration, orders and handling of fees being responsible for relevant procedures and developing/improving working methods linked to the committee process handling personal data incidents in the absence of the personal data coordinator Mail handling and record keeping are also involved. Together with your colleagues, you are part of the municipality-wide network for committee secretaries. About you We are looking for you who have a social worker or social science degree from college or university. We would be pleased if you have studied political science. You have experience of working in the public sector/politically controlled organization and administrative experience. Experience in preparing cases and similar assignments would be an advantage. As a person, you have very good written communication skills and generally good communication skills. You are calm, confident and inspire trust. You have the ability to create a good structure for your tasks, as your role is a central part of the process before, during and after board meetings. To handle the assignment, you need to be service-oriented, thorough and able to handle the fact that the work can be stressful at times. You appreciate order and tidiness. You enjoy having many different contacts and solving various issues that arise. Cooperation and collaboration are key functions in our organization and you are part of the whole. To be able to manage the various systems used in connection with the assignment, you need to have good computer skills and be able to familiarize yourself with new systems that may be added. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Other information Permanent employment, full-time, start according to agreement.
