The elderly care digitization unit consists of unit managers, business developers, project managers, coordinators, administrative managers, system managers and IT technicians who work to develop and support elderly care in the field of digitization, both strategically, tactically and operationally. The digitization unit is led by the elderly care's digitization manager, who is also the closest manager to you as a business developer. The business is constantly evolving and is currently building a cross-professional provider unit for digital care and care services, health care services and preventive activities. As a business developer in the Elderly Care Digitization Unit, you will have a great influence on the development of elderly care both in the short and long term. In your role, you will clearly contribute to the elderly care's ability to handle both challenges and to meet the goals of the administration and the Elderly Board. Your work tasks The elderly care in Umeå municipality is working on a comprehensive portfolio of digitization initiatives for the digital transformation of the relevant operations and processes. The purpose of the work is to take advantage of the opportunities that various forms of digital technology bring and thereby create the ability to meet increased demand for care and care, manage skills supply challenges and develop and improve the quality of the residents concerned. As a business developer in the Elderly Care Digitization Unit, you will have a creative and varied job that includes project management, business intelligence, procurement, feasibility studies, analysis, implementation, training and communication. You will also contribute to the development of the processes and methods that guide and shape the work with digitalization. A large part of the work consists of collaboration with internal and external operations and support functions, suppliers, municipalities, regions, authorities and others. Elderly care is shifting towards working more data-driven to better meet the needs of residents, improve quality and streamline operations. By analyzing and using data, we can make more informed decisions, develop new ways of working and address future challenges in health and social care. With the help of AI, elderly care can be given tools to process and interpret large amounts of data to automate, predict and improve processes. As a business developer, you will support the organization to translate insights from data into concrete improvements and new ways of working, and to introduce ethical AI in the organization. About you We are looking for you who have a holistic approach, with a clear focus on results and goals, and are a driving force in development work with developed communicative and pedagogical skills. You work independently and can handle complex issues with many influencing factors and stakeholders. Working with digitalization often means exploring new issues and we are looking for you who want to engage, lead and inspire all stakeholders. In this role, you will have many contacts externally and internally and it is important that you are responsive and able to handle changing needs and conditions. We attach great importance to your personal qualities. Requirements: Relevant university degree, preferably in project or change management, leadership or behavioral science with an IT focus. Several years of experience as a project manager, business developer or manager, preferably with procurement and implementation of digital services and working methods, preferably in health and social care or healthcare. Fluency in spoken and written Swedish, and good knowledge of English. Meritorious: Experience in data modeling, data visualization, reporting and/or data analysis.
