About the business

The elderly care in Umeå municipality works to enable older people to live an independent, safe and meaningful life.

In the area of investigation of the elderly and prevention, we are responsible for the exercise of authority according to the Social Services Act.

We are in an active development phase where we strengthen the work with legal security, equivalence, accessibility and collaboration, in line with the municipality's goal of social sustainability.

About the role

As an operations developer, you have a central role in our organization. You work in the borderland between operations, management and collaboration, where you both drive development and create the conditions for others to succeed.

You contribute to ensuring that our working methods are clear, sustainable and adapted to the new Social Services Act.

You are part of the management team and work closely with unit managers, social secretaries and partners - both within and outside the organization.

We are looking for you who

• Have a degree in social work or other relevant higher education
• Have experience of exercising authority
• Have worked with development or change work
• Has unhindered knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing and good knowledge of English

• Experience of development work or change work in politically controlled organization

• Is structured and has analytical skills
• Takes initiative and drives your work forward
• Has an ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Is clear, educational and communicative
