Elderly care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction. The HR unit is organized in teams consisting of different competencies where we work strategically and operationally to provide support to managers. We provide advice and support in: Employer policy issues, labor law and negotiations, staffing development, skills supply and training coordination. Salary formation and salary review, systematic work environment management and rehabilitation, redeployment and personnel planning, and internship placement. The HR unit's tasks include initiating development and improvement work and carrying out training initiatives in order for the business to achieve a long-term sustainable work environment. We are facing major challenges in the supply of skills in elderly care, both based on the demographic change and based on the low unemployment we have in Umeå. This means that employees who come to our operations often lack sufficient knowledge and skills to be able to perform the important job in elderly care independently and with the quality we want. We have now been given the opportunity to begin work on building a training organization in elderly care to be able to take on the challenge and work in a structured way to become a learning organization. We are now looking for a business developer for training issues for our HR unit! Your tasks In the role of business developer, you will work to develop and coordinate training initiatives within the elderly care administration. Together with the development manager and strategist, you will drive the work of creating a learning organization where employees are given the right conditions to develop their skills and perform their assignment with high quality. You will contribute to the development, planning and implementation of various training initiatives - both internal and in collaboration with external actors. The work can range from introduction programs and profession-specific training to language support and guidance in everyday life. You will also be involved in monitoring and evaluating training to ensure that it is effective and adapted to the needs of the business. Coordination of various networks in the administration may also be included. The role involves working closely with managers, staff and other functions within the administration, and you will play an important role in translating strategies into practical training solutions on a day-to-day basis. About you We are looking for you who have at least an upper secondary education and good knowledge of the activities and mission of elderly care. You have experience working with training, skills development or other forms of learning in health and social care. It is an advantage if you are a trained nurse or have a university education that is considered relevant to the assignment, for example in pedagogy, care, social work or equivalent. If you also have language messenger skills, we see this as a great asset. To succeed in the role, you need to be self-driven, structured and have a good ability to plan and follow up the work. You are pedagogical, have good communication skills and enjoy working with others. You have a genuine commitment to learning and development, and contribute energy, responsiveness and a solution-focused approach in your daily work.
