I am currently looking for two confident, dedicated, and reliable personal assistants who want to be an important part of my daily life. Are you someone who laughs easily, enjoys an active lifestyle, and can remain calm and steady even when life isn’t always easy? Then you might be exactly who I’m looking for.
About Me
I’m a woman in my 40s who wants to get the most out of life. I enjoy coming up with things to do, discovering new places, being out in nature, staying active, and creating memories with people I feel safe with.
My days are filled with joy, humor, and spontaneous adventures, but also with periods when my mood fluctuates. As a result of past trauma, I live with complex PTSD. I also have high-functioning autism. Sometimes I’m affected by intense anxiety, stress, or difficult memories. At those times, I need someone who can be my anchor, stay calm, and help me find my way back to balance.
For me, the relationship with my personal assistants is crucial. I need to feel secure and trust you, which is why it’s important that you’re patient and understand that a strong relationship is built over time.
About the Position
As a personal assistant, you’ll become an important part of my life and my personal growth. You’ll support me in my daily life, help me structure and plan my days, and accompany me to activities both at home and outside the home. The job involves physically demanding tasks.
The work is largely about creating the conditions that allow me to live the life I want to live. One day we might be out in nature, shopping, going on an outing, or attending an event. Another day, the focus might be on managing stress, recovery, and emotional regulation. In this role, there’s no such thing as bad weather—only inappropriate clothing. Since I primarily get around by bike, you as my assistant will need to be prepared to do the same (an electric bike is available).
You’ll need to be able to switch between being an inspiring companion during active outings and a calm source of support when life feels difficult. Your ability to create a sense of security, structure, and stability is a key part of the role.
Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be confident in yourself. You’re someone who exudes calm, even when others get stressed. You don’t need to have all the answers, but you need to be able to stay focused, think clearly, and act calmly when the situation calls for it. You’re the one who stands firm when the going gets tough, who can handle strong emotions without getting swept up in them yourself, and who understands that your calmness can make a big difference for someone else. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
We believe that you:
It is a plus if you have education or experience in, for example, social work, education, psychiatry, or therapy. It is also a plus if you have experience with trauma, autism, or mental health issues. We would also prefer that you have a Class B driver’s license.
Other Requirements
Employment
Two permanent positions at 70–100% with a start date to be agreed upon. Work hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.
Before an offer of employment is made, a criminal background check will be requested.
We warmly welcome your application!
