Working with personal safety alarms means providing reliable and prompt assistance when the individual needs it most. Through an alarm unit in their home, individuals can reach us when they need help or feel unsafe. As part of our fantastic team, you’ll be the one to receive alarms and quickly arrive on the scene to provide support, assistance, and care—always with a focus on creating a sense of security and dignity in people’s daily lives.

Your Responsibilities

We’re looking for someone who, through a warm and professional approach, can assist people with safety alarms in their homes with their daily lives. With us, you’ll respond to alarms, work in people’s homes, and assist individuals who have been approved for a safety alarm—where no two days are alike. Therefore, you need to feel confident interacting with many different people in various situations.

Work hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

We are looking for a trained nursing assistant with experience working in health care and social services. Working with the personal safety alarm system involves driving throughout the municipality of Umeå, so a Class B driver’s license is required for this position. To communicate with clients, family members, and colleagues, write and review care documentation, and administer medication, you must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. 

As a person, you enjoy working independently and are computer-literate. You are resilient under pressure, attentive, and empathetic. You have a strong ability to collaborate with colleagues and other professionals. Your interactions with individuals require strong competence based on personal suitability, maturity, and empathy. You demonstrate a strong commitment to both the individual and the organization in all your interactions and actions. We therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Heavy lifting may be required; mobility aids must be used. Since there may be animals and smoking in the workplace, you should not have any allergies.
