Grubbeskolan is a school for pupils in grades 7-9. We have a schoolyard and an artificial grass pitch that invites activity. Our focus is on knowledge, security and well-being. Grubbeskolan is one of Umeå municipality's training schools, which means that during the academic year it receives student teachers on their practical training, VFU. Your work tasks As a janitor, you have a lot of contact with school staff, meal service, property service and cleaning. The tasks include, among others: - Maintenance of technical equipment such as smartboards, projectors, lights and sound - Programming cards and authorizations in our cards and locking systems - Lock changes/opening of student lockers. Checking the locking of the school, administering locking systems, key management and, if necessary, changing locking pistons. It is an advantage if you have experience with the systems Salto and RCO - Contact with Umeå Fritid when renting out and handing out keys and showing premises to associations that rent. - Simple repair tasks, maintenance and installations - Furniture removals - Recycling/replenishment of teaching materials - Receiving deliveries - Handling of school mail - Some administration, such as ordering materials - Coordination of fault reports About you We're looking for someone with a real estate degree and/or several years' experience in the sector. You have a clear technical interest, are practical and comfortable working in various digital systems. As a person, you are a good team player, service-oriented, flexible and stress-resistant. You are able to plan and carry out your work independently, while enjoying working in a team. As you will be in daily contact with students, staff, suppliers, craftsmen and other partners, it is important that you have good communication skills. As a caretaker, you are an important role model for the school's students, which requires you to be responsible and professional in your approach. Together with your colleagues, you are also responsible for safety-related issues, such as fire alarms, evacuation and first aid. Other requirements A B driving license and access to your own car is a requirement.
