We are a service organization that supports upper secondary schools and adult education, with the mission to ensure that schools operate safely and efficiently. Our responsibilities include furnishing and maintaining premises, handling fault reports, repairs to fittings and equipment, alarm and locking systems, internal and external mail handling, ordering interiors and ergonomic products, invoice management and various administrative and practical office tasks. We are an integral part of the school's daily life and are on hand at events, ensuring that equipment and materials are in place for smooth operations. We are also responsible for the schools' fire safety and evacuation procedures. We now need more people and are therefore looking for two caretakers! Your tasks We are looking for a caretaker who is responsible for the daily operation and practical work related to the school premises. The tasks are varied and include, among others: Technical support and maintenance of school equipment, such as smart boards, projectors, lighting and sound systems. Programming access cards and authorizations in card and lock systems, as well as changing locks and managing student lockers. Simple repair and maintenance work and installations. Furnishing, moving and recycling, replenishing teaching materials and handling deliveries. Receiving and distributing mail and parcels Locking the school premises and coordinating fault reports. The position also involves some administration and ordering of materials for the schools. In this role, you will have daily contact with the catering service, building services and cleaning services. About you We are looking for you who have a real estate education and/or experience from the industry. You have a technical interest, good computer skills and are used to working in different systems. The position requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. You are a team player, service-oriented, flexible and stress-resistant. You work independently and have a good ability to plan and structure your work. As you interact daily with pupils, staff, suppliers, craftsmen and other partners, you are a clear and communicative person. In your role as an important adult at the school, we also expect you to be confident in yourself. A B driving license is required for the position. Heavy lifting occurs in the service. As one of the workplaces is Forslunda, which is an agricultural high school with several animals, you should not be allergic.
