We are now looking for 3 sharp chefs who want to help create good, nutritious and sustainable meals for our children / students at Smöret preschool, Stöcke school / preschool and Hallbacken preschool. Smöret is a preschool with 4 departments in Östra Ersboda. In the kitchen you work alone and are responsible for all tasks. Our kitchen in Stöcke prepares food for about 360 students in both school and preschool. Two cooks and two meal assistants work here. The Hallbacken preschool with five departments is located in Obbola, here you work alone and are responsible for all existing tasks. Work as a cook As a chef with us, you are responsible for leading and planning the kitchen work and you have a central role in creating high quality meals. Together with your colleagues in the kitchen, you create a pleasant meal environment for our diners. You will work closely with both colleagues and diners, helping to maintain the high quality of our service. Our kitchen is a place where every dish we serve is a chance to make a difference, whether it's food for preschoolers or for our elderly. We constantly strive to improve both flavors and work processes to make meals the best they can be. Your tasks: Planning and preparation of meals, including special diets Self-monitoring and invoice management Ordering and purchasing raw materials Washing dishes and maintenance of both kitchen and equipment Daily contact with students, preschoolers, elderly and colleagues Heavy lifting is involved. About you We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in food and is passionate about creating tasty, healthy meals. We believe that you have experience working in a kitchen and that you are a person who is happy to contribute ideas to develop and improve the business. We want you to have: A proven chef training, secondary education or other equivalent training.
