The Upper Secondary and Adult Education Committee is responsible for the municipality’s obligations under education legislation regarding upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults, and Swedish language instruction for immigrants. The Board is also responsible for work-oriented rehabilitation and the municipality’s refugee reception services. We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a coordinator with us!

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for updating, coordinating, and following up on the principals’ annual plans, as well as creating clear structures and procedures that make work easier for both principals and teachers. You’ll ensure that relevant staff members receive the right information at the right time so they can carry out their tasks effectively.

You’ll also serve as an operational and strategic support for the organization’s communications efforts. The role involves planning, implementing, and following up on communication initiatives. This involves, among other things, developing communication plans, coordinating with external vendors and advertising agencies, producing content for the web and other channels, writing and editing texts, and performing basic design work. The role also involves following up on and evaluating communication initiatives through, for example, metrics, analyses, and reader surveys.

You are also skilled at independently initiating, leading, and following up on activities and possess strong analytical skills. Requirements

• A college degree with a focus on communication, economics, education, or a related field.
• Experience working in communication, coordination, and marketing.
• Fluency in spoken and written Swedish, as well as a good command of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience presenting and communicating to small and large groups.
• A valid police background check.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in project management or process work.
• Experience working in a politically governed organization.
