About Us

The Digital Health and Care Unit is currently responsible for installing digital solutions in people’s homes and for supporting them in using digital technology. We already have IT technicians who handle installation, service, and support. As a coordinator, you will work closely with the technicians and, together with other team members, drive the development of this new division forward. The unit is now evolving from a technical focus to leading, coordinating, and implementing digital initiatives and solutions for the entire elder care sector.

Our digitalization team—which you’ll be joining—consists of business developers, project managers, coordinators, and IT technicians. Together, we work both strategically and practically to create solutions that work in everyday life. We believe in technology that creates real value for both citizens and employees, and in collaboration as the key to success.

We are now looking for a temporary coordinator (social worker) to join our team!

You’ll play a key role in building an innovative, interprofessional operation where care, technology, and collaboration come together to create a better everyday life for older adults. Here, you’ll serve as a vital link between individuals’ needs and the digital solutions that provide security, independence, and quality of life.

Work hours may vary based on the unit’s needs and may include work outside regular office hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Help build our team, where you will implement and develop processes within the unit.
• Assess and match digital solutions to the individual’s needs and preferences in health and social care.
• Collaborate with the unit’s IT technicians to create effective, comprehensive solutions for each individual.
• Actively collaborate with other professionals and government agencies to develop the organization and its digital initiatives.
• Identify when digital solutions are no longer sufficient and bring the need to the attention of social service caseworkers.
• Engage with individuals in vulnerable situations and provide professional support to both individuals and their families throughout the entire process.
• Mentor colleagues who provide digital care and serve as change leaders when implementing new work methods.
• Handle administration and documentation related to the individual.
• Help shape procedures, work methods, and digital solutions for the future of care.
• Work in accordance with procedures based on the Social Services Act, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, and the requirements of administrative law.
• Coordinate the housing placement process in close collaboration with social workers and other stakeholders.
• Offer available housing placements and inform the individual and their family members prior to moving in.
• Follow up on and document housing placements in accordance with applicable procedures and legislation.
• Collaborate within the digitalization team and with other professions.
• Mentor colleagues and participate in development and improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to innovative solutions and the development of future elder care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent higher education.
• Solid knowledge of the Social Services Act, public access to information and confidentiality, as well as administrative law.
• Experience in case management and providing professional support to individuals in vulnerable situations.
• Strong digital skills, including the ability to use relevant systems, digital tools, and platforms independently and effectively.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and drive change within an organization.
• A strong interest in digital development and innovation within health and social care.
• Strong written communication skills in Swedish, as the role requires the ability to write clear, structured, and effective reports, supporting materials, and documentation.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish, as well as a good command of English.
• A Class B driver’s license, as the position involves home visits.

We consider it an asset if you have experience in project management and if you have training in project management, research, supervision, and digitalization.

As a person, you have strong interpersonal skills and can adapt your communication to the audience and situation. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Additional Information

This is a full-time temporary position, from September 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027.
