Health care Elderly is responsible for round-the-clock health care services at primary care level and currently has around 250 employees. Operations are divided into home care, which has just over 1,200 patients, and special housing, which has about 900 patients. The management team consists of 11 unit managers and an assistant director and director of operations. As the business is growing, we need to expand with another deputy director of operations.
Duties and responsibilities
As deputy operations manager, you are responsible for the unit managers who lead occupational therapists, physiotherapists and assistive technology services in various teams in both home care and special housing. You will also be responsible for the three development managers who are part of the organization. The role involves financial and work environment responsibilities for these teams, and you report to the Head of Operations.
The duties of the Deputy Director of Operations include:
Leading the daily work and creating good conditions for employees to develop the care-related processes.
Developing and streamlining collaboration with the Region, with a particular focus on the transition to Good and Close Care in the coming years.
Work to ensure that our goals are achieved and that agreed activities are implemented.
Ensure regular follow-up of activities.
Provide feedback on the work done.
You will work closely with the other heads of operations in elderly care and replace the head of operations during leave or other absences.

Qualifications
You are a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist with several years of experience working in municipal health care and/or inpatient care. You have the ability to put this experience into practice and contribute to the transition towards Good and Close Care.
You also have several years of experience as a manager in health care, preferably in municipal operations. You are confident in your leadership role and value close collaboration with staff and colleagues. As a person, you are unpretentious, have the ability to prioritize in pressured situations and work in a structured manner. You see your mission from a holistic perspective where the individual patient and employee are at the center. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing reports, procedures and information for staff. Therefore, good familiarity with Word, PowerPoint and Excel and good knowledge of the Swedish language are required.
A B driving license is required.
