Do you want to help shape the future of elderly care? Elderly care in Umeå municipality is facing an exciting development journey. Our mission is clear - to create security, quality and dignity for the elderly every day. We are now looking for a Development Strategist who wants to take a key role in realizing our vision: "Together for a better life - for life!" Your role As a Development Strategist, you will be a driving force for change. In the role of development strategist, you will initiate and lead strategic development projects that drive elderly care forward. You will work to develop and implement new ways of working that improve the quality and efficiency of operations. An important part of the assignment is to contribute to our scenario work - where we work with forecasts of future needs based on vision, goals and strategies. This is when the project ends and now moves into implementation. The model has been developed and is about to be used in the budget and planning process. You support leaders and operations in transition and improvement work and act as a strategic resource in the elderly care director's management team, where you contribute with analysis and a long-term perspective. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you who have solid experience of strategic development work, preferably within administrative management and towards current target groups and activities. You have a university degree and are an analytical and structured person who can turn visions into concrete action plans and create real change. You thrive in complex organizations and have a natural ability to build collaboration between different actors. Your communicative strengths mean that you don't just get messages across - you inspire and engage others in change processes. You are used to working independently and taking responsibility for issues at a global level. If you also have experience of working with change management, service design, driving implementation, conducting follow-up and in-depth analysis, as well as leading improvement work, we see it as a great merit. Knowledge of process mapping and practical implementation of business changes is also valuable. We attach great importance to your personal suitability - we are looking for an enterprising person with strategic vision, analytical acuity and the ability to motivate and engage people. Why choose us? In this role, you will be an integral part of the Director of Elderly Care's management team, bringing a strategic and long-term perspective that makes a real difference. You will be at the heart of shaping the future of elderly care - an activity that impacts people's lives every day. You will be part of a dedicated team working closely with management and have a strong influence on the strategic decisions that drive development forward. Follow Umeå municipality on Linkedin!
