Your tasks As an economist with us, you work with processes linked to operational budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and analysis within the administration. You support heads of units, deputy heads of operations and heads of operations with financial analyses in their area of activity. You also work with ongoing cost accounting in your area of activity and analysis of current costs. In addition, you will be involved in various forms of development work, both administration-specific and municipality-wide processes. You will be part of a team consisting of three economists and a controller, and you will report to the administration's head of finance. What can we offer you? About you We are looking for you who have: a degree in economics or another degree in the field of economics from college/university several years of experience as an economist Perhaps you have worked in a public organization with financial issues, but it is not a requirement. However, it may be an advantage if you have worked in a larger organization. We would like you to have very good knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of the Office package's other applications and other types of financial or follow-up systems - for example Hypergene, Visma or similar. If you have experience of working with the municipal database Kolada and analysis / comparisons of municipal activities, it is positive. As the work involves a lot of communication and cooperation with managers and other actors in our operations, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both written and oral. Your personal qualities are important, and we want you to be communicative, self-driven and responsible.
