The Sandviksvägen Holmsund group home is aimed at adults with physical, mental and intellectual disabilities who have been granted accommodation under LSS. Your tasks You will provide individual, social and practical support to enable and utilize the person's own abilities and thus create the conditions for independence. Common tasks include care work, personal hygiene, medication management and support with everyday tasks such as cleaning, laundry, cooking and various types of activities. Your approach is characterized by flexibility, continuity and security. You will be expected to create and maintain structure to reduce the risk of threatening and violent situations, while being flexible and able to deal with unexpected situations. Visual aids are used in communication with residents. Working hours are day, evening and weekend. About you As a person, you are calm and confident and have good self-awareness. You work in a solution-focused way, follow routines and communicate easily with residents, colleagues and managers. To be able to communicate with residents, relatives and colleagues, write and access care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Requirements High school diploma Experience of working in the field of disability care Meritorious Trained as a nurse, childcare worker or have another education that the employer considers equivalent Experience with visual aids Cats are present in the workplace so you should not be allergic.
