Job Responsibilities

Our responsibilities include telephone counseling, medical assessments, prescribing medications, and palliative care. We are based in a shared office and provide both scheduled and unscheduled care in private homes as well as in nursing and assisted living facilities for the elderly and people with disabilities.

About You

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse. Experience working in home health care and/or elder care is preferred. It is also advantageous for this position if you are a certified nurse specialist with a focus on geriatric care or a community health nurse. A Class B driver’s license is required for this position.

To communicate effectively with patients, family members, and colleagues, as well as to write and review medical records, you must have a strong command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability. You have a strong sense of initiative and are good at thinking outside the box. You are able to work independently while recognizing the importance of collaboration with various healthcare professionals, where the individual also plays an active role. Of course, you have a kind and respectful demeanor and are attentive and open in your interactions with both the individuals receiving care and their loved ones. You are a good team player and want to contribute to effective communication and collaboration with other stakeholders.

Pets and smokers may be present in the workplace, so you should not have allergies.

Additional Information

Work hours are scheduled at night and every third weekend. Reduced workweek with a 32-hour workweek. In addition to the on-call allowance, extra compensation is paid for each evening shift.
