Now we are looking for a procurer who wants to take an important role in our work to develop and carry out procurements for Umeå municipality. Maybe it's you?

Your tasks

As a procurement officer in Umeå municipality, you have a central and independent role with responsibility for planning, implementing and following up procurements. You lead the process from needs analysis and preparation of tender documents to evaluation, contract signing and follow-up. In this role, you will provide expert support in procurement and contractual matters and help develop effective working methods and procedures. Legislation is an important tool, with a focus on creating sustainable and value-creating business for the municipality and its inhabitants.

As an experienced procurer, you are expected to handle more complex procurements and contribute with experience, security and structure in the joint work. You run several procurements in parallel and have an important role in the collaboration with the operations.

The role is based on close cooperation where different competencies complement each other. The organizations contribute with their expertise on needs and content, and you contribute with procurement expertise, structure and responsibility for implementation.

About you

We are looking for you who have education in procurement, purchasing, business law, economics or other post-secondary education that we consider relevant. Alternatively, you have work experience that we consider equivalent.

You have several years of experience of qualified work in procurement and good knowledge of work according to LOU. You have an interest in business and procurement issues and thrive in a role with many contact surfaces. You are structured, quality conscious and have the ability to plan, prioritize and run several processes simultaneously.

• Be service-oriented and have an easy time building good relationships
• Collaborate well and communicate clearly in Swedish in both speech and writing
• Be businesslike and look at the big picture of the assignment
• Have the ability to work independently and contribute to developing working methods, routines and quality in the procurement process
• Be a qualified support in procurement and contract issues

Additional:

• Experience of working in the procurement tool e-Avrop
• Experience of working with procurement in a municipality or other politically governed organization
