We are looking for you who want to work with young people at our meeting places, that is, our leisure centers for young people 13-17 years, Youth House Ersboda and Youth House Hamnmagasinet with a focus on high school age. We also run activities for adults with disabilities. The meeting places are located in Umeå municipality including Sävar, Hörnefors and Holmsund/Obbola and are open in the evenings, weekdays and weekends. The activities are voluntary and based on the target group's perceived needs, ideas and wishes. Do you want to become one of us? Your tasks You will work in youth activities at Umeå municipality's meeting places. The meeting places have different age divisions and orientations to meet the needs of the target group. As a leisure leader assistant, you will work to inspire and support young people in taking place and shaping the content of the meeting place according to their needs, ideas and wishes. About you We are looking for you who have full grades from upper secondary school. If you are studying or have studied at the teacher / social worker / cultural / sports educator program or other education aimed at working with young people based on promotional activities, it is positive. You have an easy time building relationships with young people and are passionate about supporting them to make healthy choices and be involved in the content and development of leisure activities. Experience in leadership positions in the non-profit sector is an advantage. We are looking for people with a passion for different hobbies, such as creativity, games, dance, music, e-sports, sports, baking or similar. We welcome applicants with knowledge of other languages besides Swedish, e.g. Arabic, Persian, Dari, Farsi, Tigrinya, Somali, etc. A B-driving license is required if you work at leisure centers outside the central city, i.e. Sävar, Holmsund/Obbola and Hörnefors. As a result of the law on suitability control, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented upon employment.
