Are you the one? Family treatment is an outpatient unit for children and young people aged 0-18 and their families, some interventions are also provided up to the age of 21.
The unit works to implement various types of decisions granted assistance in the form of family treatment, parental support and other interventions aimed at children, young people and their families and young adults. The family treatment unit consists of about 40 employees who work with different methods and age groups. The unit is led by two unit managers with responsibilities divided according to treatment methodology and the age of the target group. In the fall of 2025, the unit will also have a group leader in place.
The family treatment is based on the following methods: Intensive home-based family treatment (IHF), Functional family therapy (FFT), Crime as a lifestyle, Cognitive Integrated Treatment at risk of Child Abuse (KIBB), Trappan, Parenting young children (PYC) and Safer children. The therapists at the unit also work with youth service, youth care, drug treatment and support for parents with placed children/young people.
We are now looking for an important family therapist with special affiliation in the IHF team (Intensive Home Based Family Treatment) and the role of coordinator in the treatment team. However, you are expected to be able to work in different roles within the IHF team and across teams.
Your tasks
As an IHF practitioner, you will be part of a team of about 8 people. IHF is a manual-based treatment method in which we work in teams of three; a youth worker, a family worker and a coordinator. We are now primarily looking for an employee who will work as a coordinator in the treatment team, but your role may vary in different cases. In the role of coordinator in the treatment team, you must be able to lead the team in the work around the family and coordinate both professional actors and private networks that exist around the family. You will work both with treatment at home and in the family treatment premises.
About you
We are looking for you who have a social worker education or other education that the employer considers equivalent. We would like to see that you have BBIC and IHF training and experience of working with the IHF method. We think that you have experience of working with children, young people and families in the social services' provider activities/outpatient care and/or exercise of authority. We believe that you have experience in treatment work. If you have not worked as a therapist, you need to have otherwise worked with individuals in processes/change work.
You are a confident, courageous and communicative person who is easy to cooperate at all levels. As a family worker/coordinator, you need to be structured, flexible, responsive, committed and enjoy working with others in a team to achieve the best for our children, young people and their families. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
A B driving license is a requirement.
Upon employment, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented, due to the law on suitability control.
