Ersboda care home is located in Västra Ersboda, about 6 km from the center of Umeå. The care home has a conservatory, sauna and a beautiful outdoor environment with fountain and gym. There are good opportunities for outdoor recreation. The building has two floors with a total of 60 apartments. We also have a unit with a Finnish focus, where staff speak partial Finnish. It is precisely for the Finnish department that we now welcome a new sharp assistant nurse to our team! Your tasks You will assist the resident with personal care and perform medical tasks as delegated by the nurse in charge. The tasks also include documenting actions and health status. You work on the basis of the assignment as a contact person, where the resident's participation is in focus. In this way, you ensure that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. About you We are looking for you who speak and understand Finnish as the placement is on a unit with Finnish-speaking residents. Furthermore, you are a trained nurse and have experience of working in healthcare. Meritorious in this position is if you have previous experience of working in elderly care, medication delegation and further training in dementia. We see that you as an applicant have a genuine interest in elderly care. Your encounter with residents requires good skills based on personal suitability, maturity and empathy. You show a great commitment to both users and activities, in all relationships and actions. As a person, you enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professions. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
