Individual and family care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction. Family treatment is an outpatient service for children and young people aged 0-18 (21) and their families. The operation implements various types of decisions granted assistance regarding outpatient care for children and young people, families and young adults. We work to strengthen cohesion, care and trust based on the best interests of the child. The family treatment unit consists of a total of about 40 employees and is led by two unit managers based on the method and age group the therapists meet. The children's group 0-12 years works, among other things, on the basis of the methods Cognitive Integrated Treatment at Risk of Child Abuse (KIBB), Trappan, Parenting young children (PYC) and Safer Children. The youth group 12-18 (21) years works with methods such as Intensive Home Based Family Treatment (IHF), Functional Family Therapy (FFT) and Crime as a Lifestyle. The therapists also work with youth service and youth care in the execution of sentences for young offenders, up to the age of 21, and with drug treatment. The organization also has a team that meets parents of placed children/young people, the Parental Support Unit (FSE). The family treatment also has support groups for children in families with mental illness or addiction. We are now looking for a group leader for Family Treatment. Your tasks The role of group leader in the unit is new. You will be responsible for managing and distributing the operational casework in the unit. As a team leader, you will provide qualified support and guidance to our staff in their work, based on guidelines and values. As a team leader with us: You will work on the basis of the objectives and tasks set by the Board. You work with development issues that are decided in dialog with the head of unit in order for the unit to develop, work legally secure and have high quality. Do you take responsibility for establishing and updating procedures, guidelines etc. together with the manager? You are responsible for and participate as a representative in various consultation forums. You provide internal guidance in the unit and support in cases as needed. Allocate and reallocate cases according to unit procedures. Create structure for planning, follow-up, meetings and dialog. Plan and hold methodological support. Requirements: Degree in social work or other degree deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience of working in social services, exercising authority and/or performing activities. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. B driving license Meritorious: Experience as a leader such as group leader, coordinator or similar is a merit. Experience of leading/coordinating employees in processes and change work. Experience of treatment work with children and young people and/or adults and experience of working in any of the above methods. Personal qualities: You are a confident, courageous and communicative person who is easy to work with at all levels. You have experience in leading and coaching teams. You need to be able to prioritize both your own work and that of your colleagues, and be able to handle different situations in a calm and trustworthy manner. You see opportunities and think outside the box when needed, while maintaining what already works well. You are a committed individual who understands the importance of working with other services to ensure the best for our children, young people and their families. The role requires good leadership skills where, as a team leader, you will need to be able to inspire, engage and mentor staff in their daily work.
