Are you the one? Do you want to lead an organization that makes a real difference in people's lives? With us, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of elderly care - strategically, long-term and with a focus on quality and dignity.
Your mission
As Head of Operations, you are a key member of the elderly care management team. You have overall responsibility for nursing and care homes and short-term stays - a total of around 1000 places spread over 16 homes. You lead through three deputy directors and around 40 unit managers, and together with them you create the conditions for operational leadership.
You translate the municipality's goals into concrete action, lead development and ensure quality, economy and a good working environment. You are a key player in collaboration with trade unions, civil society and external stakeholders. You are part of the elderly care director's management team and play an important role in shaping the future of elderly care.
Your responsibilities
As Head of Operations, you will have extensive responsibility for the planning, management and development of operations based on the municipal council's objectives. You are responsible for the budget, resource allocation and follow-up to keep operations in balance.
By leading through your managers, you create the conditions for sustainable and present leadership. You drive quality work and continuous improvements, while building strong relationships and collaborating with the council, trade unions and external stakeholders. You also have overall responsibility for recruitment, work environment and skills supply - crucial for meeting future needs in elderly care.
About you
The role requires a university degree and solid experience in social services or healthcare. We would like to see that you are used to leading through other managers and that you have a strong ability to work strategically. The role involves working closely with a committee or board, and it is important to be able to confidently represent the organization - also in media contexts.
