Duties and responsibilities As Head of Procurement and Purchasing, you will be responsible for the personnel, budget and work environment of around 15 employees. You report to the Head of Procurement and are part of the Procurement Office's management team where you contribute to the development of the entire department. Through your leadership, you utilize the skills and commitment of your employees and you lead, distribute and coach your employees in the operational work. Together with your colleagues, you lead the work of developing methods and working methods in the field of procurement and ensure that the activities comply with current legislation. The role also includes quality assurance and approval of procurement documents for political decisions, as well as acting as acting head of procurement in his/her absence. About you We are looking for you who have a relevant university education or other education or experience that is considered equivalent. We consider it positive if you have completed an internal trainee program for future leaders or equivalent. You have an interest in leadership and you have previous experience of leadership in some form, perhaps as a manager, team leader, supervisor or similar. You have previous experience in procurement and you have experience and knowledge of the Public Procurement Act. We consider it positive if you have experience from politically governed activities. As a person, you are confident and result-oriented and have a good ability to lead and communicate in change. With unpretentiousness and communication, you create participation, trust and security among your employees. You have good planning and structuring skills and you value working with other people to achieve mutual success.
