We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a temporary unit manager with us!

Your Assignment

As a unit manager, you will be responsible for operations, personnel, and finances. You will be responsible for approximately 30 employees and will lead the various student health professions in close collaboration with other unit heads. Together with your fellow unit heads, you will lead and develop the operations in accordance with the requirements of the Education Act and the curriculum’s objectives. The role involves collaboration with school principals, area managers, and various external stakeholders. You will be part of the student health management team and report to the Director of Student Health, who also serves as the Operations Manager.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • have a college degree with a focus on one of the areas of expertise within student health services, such as education, medicine, behavioral science, psychology, or social work.
  • have experience in preventive and promotional work for children and youth

We prefer that you have managerial experience. If you do not, you must have led or coordinated colleagues in processes or development projects. We also prefer that you have experience in schools and/or student health services. If you have not previously worked in a school setting, you must have collaborated closely with such operations so that you have gained a thorough understanding of—and been able to implement—the mission of student health services in your work. You are also familiar with research in this field.

As a leader, you have a strong ability to engage, inspire, and motivate employees to achieve excellent results. You enjoy the trust of both internal and external partners and thrive on collaboration and building networks. You also have a strong ability to build trusting relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues. The role involves some writing, so it is important that you express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

You do not need to include a separate cover letter if you prefer not to, but be sure to answer the screening questions thoroughly and attach your resume.

Additional Information

Before an offer of employment is made, we ask that you provide an extract from the police criminal records database. This is the final step in the recruitment process.

The position is a temporary assignment for the 2026/2027 academic year, with the possibility of extension.
