Your work assignments Together with the head of department and two other unit heads, you will lead, plan and develop the Culture School in Umeå, with a particular focus on our music activities. Kulturskolan consists of approximately 75 employees and you will have budget, work environment and personnel responsibility for approximately 30 employees. Head of Unit is part of the Culture School's management team, where we work together with responsibility for the entire Culture School, with different areas of responsibility About you We are looking for you who have relevant academic education or other education and experience that we find equivalent. If you have, in addition to this, any form of management or leadership training, we see it as meritorious. You have experience in leadership with personnel, budget and operational responsibility. We would like to see that you have knowledge from the culture or music industry and/or pedagogical skills. Experience of having worked in a municipal/politically controlled organization is meritorious, as is experience from change work. For this assignment, we are looking for a confident leader with a creative mind who can encourage cooperation and co-creation. You yourself are well organized and work systematically to ensure goal achievement. Many processes and working methods in the Culture School are under development and we are looking for you who want to engage, lead and inspire your employees. Other qualities that are necessary are a good ability to cooperate, a lack of prestige and a holistic view, as we together contribute to the cultural school's development.
