The administration has a total of approximately 200 employees. Your work tasks As head of unit, you have staff and budget responsibility for around 12 employees. You will be responsible for the quality and progress of detailed planning cases in line with the municipality's long-term objectives. Together in the department's management team, we apply a shared responsibility for the long-term development of the department and ensure an efficient and high-quality process. Together, we are responsible for maintaining a trusting dialog with the private and public actors involved, as well as the municipality's politics and other administrations. About you We are looking for someone who can represent the municipality in a trustworthy and positive way. You focus on the benefit to the citizen and engage in dialogue with your employees, where you as a manager are accessible, clear and listen with care. You base your leadership on trust in your staff and their ability to achieve good results. The tasks require a driven and solution-oriented approach and a willingness to take on complex societal challenges in collaboration with others. Requirements: Education at university level in a subject area dealt with in a detailed plan, e.g. spatial planning, architecture, urban planning, environmental and water engineering or other education deemed relevant to the position by the employer. Several years of work experience in spatial planning with participation in the detailed planning process Experience in managing projects Good ability to express yourself well both in speech and writing in Swedish Desirable experience: Management experience with staff responsibility Experience of operational responsibility, for example through a coordination or team leader role Experience in drawing up detailed plans Experience in driving or actively participating in the development of processes/procedures/activities supported by new technologies Experience in change management Good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act Welcome with your application!
