Health and medical care in the home is responsible for medical care around the clock at the primary care level in both special housing and ordinary housing.

Now we are looking for you who are passionate about elderly care and want to be a unit manager for a lovely bunch of employees.

Work tasks

As a unit manager in Health and medical care in the home, you have staff, budget and work environment responsibility for about 20-25 employees.

The duties of the unit manager include:

• lead the daily work and create conditions for the employees to develop the care-related processes
• develop and streamline collaboration with the region
• work to ensure that our goals are achieved and that decided activities are implemented
• focus on regular follow-up of the business
• provide feedback on the work done

In the role, you are also responsible for deviation management and that patient safety procedures are followed according to guidelines and procedures from the medically responsible nurse, MAS. You will also work with the planning and development of competence-enhancing initiatives for the business.

To support you in your work, you have your unit manager colleagues and you are part of a team where you have a dialog and collaborate on common issues. You will report to the deputy head of operations who will follow up and support you in your assignment. There are also support functions in administration, finance and HR.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with several years of experience. We prefer that you have experience of, or knowledge of municipal health care and that you have previous experience as a manager / leader.

As a person, you are confident in your leadership role and enjoy working closely with employees and colleagues. You are structured, unpretentious and able to prioritize in pressured situations, and see your mission from a holistic perspective with the individual person in focus. The business is facing several development areas, where you will have a central role. In the role, you will be responsible for producing reports, routines and information for employees and therefore familiarity with Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement.

The position requires that you have a B-driving license.
