The Upper Secondary and Adult Education Board is responsible for the municipality's obligations under school legislation for upper secondary school, upper secondary special school, municipal adult education, special education for adults, Swedish lessons for immigrants. The board is also responsible for vocational rehabilitation, and for municipal refugee reception. Your assignment
The position means that you are currently the head of parts of the Support to Work and Matching Office together with the current head of unit. As one of two Heads of Unit, you will be responsible for the management, planning, coordination and development of the unit's activities. You have unit, financial, personnel and work environment responsibilities. The assignment includes leading in complex collaboration with other parties within the collaboration platform. The work may include responding to referrals and other administration towards the principal.
You are part of the management team for the Labor Market Department and report to the head of operations.
About you
We are looking for you who have a university education with a social science, behavioral science, rehabilitation or educational focus. You have worked in multi-party collaboration and have good knowledge of our collaboration partners (Försäkringskassan, Arbetsförmedling, Region Västerbotten, Kriminalvården). You also have experience of strategic management work in multi-party collaboration. You have experience of working with labor market statistics and follow-up. We would like you to be trained in one of Supported's methods, Empowerment and Service Design.
You should have experience of leading processes in collaboration and have good knowledge of change management. The business is certified according to ISO 9001, so we would like you to have experience of working with quality management according to this system. You have worked in public administration and are used to working in a politically driven organization. You have very good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.
Leading in multi-party collaboration based on your own mission with a common goal requires the ability to understand your own role, your own mission and at the same time work for the whole and the other parties in the collaboration. This requires responsiveness, the ability to understand the role / mission / regulations of other parties and to be able to work towards jointly set goals.
We are looking for you who have good knowledge and experience of the labor market and the conditions set in working life. You have knowledge of the ways and means of establishing yourself in the labor market and experience of working with people in need of support. You have experience in the field of mental health, rehabilitation and disabilities. Experience of collaboration with civil society is meritorious.
You take great personal responsibility and have good self-leadership. You have good self-awareness and are confident in yourself. You have the ability to build trust, be empathetic and see opportunities. You have the ability to look at the bigger picture and see development needs from a societal perspective. The work is complex with many contact surfaces where you need to be creative, flexible and solution-focused.
Strong emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
