The Upper Secondary School and Adult Education Board is responsible for the municipality's obligations under school legislation for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults and Swedish language teaching for immigrants. Your tasks Your main task is to work, within the framework of regular teaching in a specific class, with pupils in need of special support. You will work together with the regular teacher in a class and interact with the mentor, teacher and student health team. As an extra teacher in the class, you are an important part of creating a safe environment for our students and at the same time creating good conditions for students to learn and develop according to their abilities. The work involves working with regular teachers and students in the whole class as well as working with students at group and individual level. However, the focus is on special support for pupils in need. Together with regular teachers and staff from the student health team, you plan and implement the teaching to give students predictability, security and study peace. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate students and thus create good opportunities for learning. About you We are looking for you who have a teacher's license for teaching in upper secondary school, with qualifications in Swedish. It is an advantage if you are also qualified to teach history and social studies. You have experience of teaching in upper secondary school and working with students in need of special support.To succeed in the assignment, you are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have the ability to differentiate and vary teaching based on the needs of the students. You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create structure, context and good relationships with students and co-workers. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You need to attach a cover letter, CV and teaching license. Other conditions Special fixed-term employment, full-time, starting soon, by agreement until 2025-12-31.
