Elderly care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction. Anyone over the age of 18 who cannot get to a health center on their own or with help may have the opportunity to receive health care and rehabilitation/habilitation in their home. When a person has been granted home care, they are contacted by the municipality's staff for an initial home visit. During the visit, the interventions to be carried out at home are planned in consultation and the person may be assigned a permanent care contact within the home care service. Nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists work in home care. We are now looking for a confident and competent assistant nurse who is interested in a flexible and developing work where the individual is at the center. Your work tasks As a Home Care Assistant Nurse, you will carry out delegated tasks at primary care level, which may include medication management (including injections, insulin), KAD care, wound dressing and tube feeding. About you We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse and want to contribute with your skills in home care. You have experience in sampling and delegated tasks, such as the examples above. An advantage for this position is if you have experience of home visits, through home care or home care services. The position requires a B driving license. Heavy lifting occurs, transfer aids should be used. Smoking and furry animals may be present in the workplace so you should not be allergic.
