The Bosocial unit currently consists of six employees. We work on behalf of the authorities and offer housing solutions to people who for various reasons cannot arrange their own housing. We help to arrange both temporary and longer-term housing solutions within disability care and individual and family care. The work is based on collaboration with various property owners, both municipal and private. We are now looking for a housing consultant! Your tasks As a housing consultant, you work with various types of housing social issues within the unit, such as housing instructions for LSS housing and planning and management of contracts together with clients and their representatives. The tasks include ordering and drawing up rental contracts, follow-up home visits and termination of contracts. The work involves regular contacts with people in need of support in housing issues, where you act as the social services' contact person towards other actors in cases concerning individuals' housing needs. You work in close collaboration with colleagues in the LSS authority, SoL under 65 years and the exercise of authority in individual and family care and disability care. In the role, you also interact with the municipality's property department and other property owners. The work involves both administrative tasks and some practical work, such as furnishing apartments. About you We are looking for you who are a trained social worker. You have a B driving license and have an unimpeded knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing and basic knowledge of English. We look positively on if you have experience of: Tenancy law Exercise of authority IFO or FO Housing support People in the intellectual or social psychiatric field People with addiction problems or mental health problems To succeed in the role of housing consultant, you are structured, responsible and confident in your professional role. You have good communication skills and treat people in a professional, sensitive and respectful manner. You work independently, are flexible and solution-oriented, and have a good ability to cooperate with colleagues and external stakeholders.
