Housing support is a practical, educational and social intervention that aims to make it easier for the individual to manage their everyday life. The intervention provides support to engage, encourage and motivate the individual to independence by performing activities together with staff. The individual's specific needs determine what the housing support intervention should look like and when the intervention should be carried out. Housing support can be provided in ordinary housing or to people living in homelessness. According to proven experience, housing support in one's own home increases the ability to manage one's home life independently, increases participation in activities in society and increases the level of functioning. We are now looking for an important housing supervisor for the Support Team! Your work tasks As a housing supervisor, you work daily with people based on individual planning. You participate and facilitate contact with various stakeholders, such as care providers, authorities and other social contacts, with the aim that the person can eventually develop the ability to manage this more independently. You provide support to people with mental disabilities/diagnoses and neuropsychiatric diagnoses in and outside the person's home. In the work, you will assist with, among other things, planning, contact with authorities, home chores and social support. Collaboration within the team and with other units is a central part of the work. The work also consists of documentation and motivation work through, for example, evidence- and research-based methods such as An Independent Life (ESL), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Resources in Meeting Aggression (REISMA) and Clarifying Pedagogy (TP). Housing support is carried out by working with the individual to plan for, develop strategies and perform various everyday tasks so that the individual can maintain or in the long term be able to perform the tasks themselves based on their conditions. The support team is co-located with Kraftverket, which is an open organization where you can get simple support and be in a social context. Working hours are day, evening and weekend. About you We are looking for you who are a trained nurse or who have another education that is considered equivalent, such as support educator, social worker, psychologist or occupational therapist. You should also have experience of working with mental illness. You need to be able to treat people in a respectful and calm manner, even in situations that can be challenging. We value your ability to cooperate, but also your ability to take responsibility when needed. Sometimes the work may involve a higher workload, and it is important that you can stay focused. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required for this position, as well as a B driving license. Furry animals may be present in the workplace so you should not be allergic.
