The Cultural Department contributes to an increased quality of life through our extensive cultural offering, where our program department carries out cultural activities and events with breadth and excellence. In addition to offering meaningful and creative leisure time, the School of Culture has the task of providing our children and young people with compulsory cultural experiences during school hours via the Cultural Promise, and our 11 public libraries are important cultural and knowledge hubs around the municipality. The leisure administration contributes to a good living environment through the operation of our sports facilities and outdoor areas, our leisure centers that provide our young people with safe meeting places, the temperate baths that are also responsible for swimming lessons and the association office that mediates and manages the municipality's grants to our non-profit cultural and leisure associations. We are now looking for a confident HR partner who wants a central and independent role in supporting our 27 managers in a wide variety of operational and strategic HR issues and HR processes. The HR department consists of an HR partner and an HR manager where you as a partner have a central role contributing to the development and improvement of our HR processes and providing support to our managers. Together with the two administrations' approximately 400 employees, we work within the cultural administration and the leisure administration every day to improve the cultural life and leisure offer for Umeå's citizens. About the job As an HR partner, you will be part of a small team together with the HR manager, where you will be an important and central resource in strengthening and supporting our managers in a wide range of HR issues. Among other things, you will work with rehabilitation, individual cases, change management, labor law, systematic work environment management and many other HR-related issues. You will also be part of some central forums and groups in the HR area as a representative of the two administrations. The managers you support are in the cultural administration's business areas of library, cultural school and program activities, as well as the leisure administration's business areas of swimming, operations, association office and youth. Your tasks In the role of HR Partner, you will, among other things Provide operational and ongoing support to managers on issues related to labor law, work environment, change management, rehabilitation and collaboration Drive HR processes and hold workshops and training sessions Represent and drive the administrations' issues in selected central HR forums About you We are looking for you who have: A university degree in HR, for example from the human resources program or other equivalent education Experience of working in a supportive/consultative capacity in a wide range of HR issues Good IT skills and experience of working in HR systems Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing Experience of working in the public sector Meritorious Experience of working in municipal or other politically controlled activities To thrive in the role of HR Partner, we would like you to be: Communicative - you have the ability to convey messages clearly in speech and writing Solution-oriented - you always strive to find solutions to challenges Independent - you take initiative and are able to plan and carry out your work with a high sense of responsibility Structured - you are used to managing multiple tasks at the same time and ensure that they are completed with high quality Relationship builder - you strive to build good relationships through responsiveness and integrity Why you are important to us?
