At the HR unit, we contribute by supporting the managers of the administration in their leadership. The Office of the Pre- and Compulsory Education Administration includes management, finance, HR, legal, communication, premises planning and administration. The HR Unit of the Pre- and Primary Education Administration consists of 13 staff members divided into three teams: HR Partners, HR Strategists and Recruitment Center.
Your tasks
As an HR Partner, you will provide consultative support to the managers of the Pre- and Primary School Administration on a wide range of HR issues. The main tasks will be to support and skill our managers in their decision-making in HR issues in rehabilitation and work adaptation, systematic work environment management, change management and labor law and other conditions. You are responsible for business-related HR support based on Umeå municipality's current guidelines, policies and procedures in order to ensure a common employer policy.
Collaboration is a big part of the job where, in addition to union collaboration and negotiation, you also collaborate with both internal and external actors, such as occupational health care, insurance fund, transition fund, etc. Other tasks that may be included in your assignment are introducing new managers in the HR area and participating in group and individual initiatives. You will participate in the development of both the Pre- and Compulsory School Administration's and the municipality's joint HR processes, which includes training and informing managers in the area. Within the role of HR partner, you will have the opportunity to take on a great deal of responsibility and develop your skills.
About you
We are looking for you who have:
a degree from a human resources program or other equivalent academic training.
experience of qualified HR work, preferably in municipal or regional operations.
good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
good IT skills and experience of working with HR systems.
knowledge and experience of labor law issues throughout the employment cycle in the HR area.
The assignment as an HR partner is mainly operational and involves many relationships, therefore the ability to create trust by virtue of your knowledge is important. As a person, you are driven, responsible and have a good ability to structure your work. As the assignment involves close cooperation with colleagues within your own and other administrations, it is important that you enjoy collaborating, are communicative and have the ability to create good relationships.
