Do you want to work with HR issues in an organization that really affects people's lives? At Support and Care, you will be involved in creating the conditions for children, young people, adults and the elderly in Umeå to get the support they need. Here, your work in supporting managers will be crucial for our business to function in the best way - every day. The support and care administration is responsible for support and care for people living or staying in the municipality. The administration is led by the Individual and Family Committee, and the activities include disability care, individual and family care and the exercise of authority. The administration's HR unit consists of 11 dedicated colleagues. We support and help each other in our daily work and always strive to develop together. Our office is located in the charming Sadelmakeriet - a small wooden house right next to the town hall. We are now strengthening our operations with an HR partner. Do you want to be one of us? Job duties As an HR Partner, you will provide consultative support to Heads of Unit and Deputy Heads of Operations on a wide range of HR issues. You will contribute your expertise to support and empower managers and develop the business. The tasks involve: Provide consultative HR support in areas such as labor law, work adaptation, rehabilitation, systematic work environment management, change management and conditional issues Ensuring that HR work complies with the municipality's governing documents, policies and guidelines Collaborate and negotiate with trade unions and other internal and external actors (e.g. occupational health care and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency) Organize workshops, trainings and group or individual interventions in the HR field Introducing new managers to HR issues Participate in the development of the municipality's common HR processes In the role, you have great responsibility and good opportunities to influence and develop together with us. Your role is close to the business so you will be out a lot on site in our businesses to meet our managers. About you We want you to have: University degree in human resources program or other relevant education that we consider equivalent Good knowledge of labor law Experience of providing operational support to managers on a wide range of HR issues Experience of working with trade unions and experience of negotiations and deliberations would be an advantage. If you have worked as a manager and in that role encountered a wide range of complex HR issues, this may be an interesting background. Experience of working in the public sector is an advantage.
