Are you the one? The upper secondary and adult education administration has overall responsibility for ensuring that all young people and young adults living in the municipality have access to school in the municipality's own activities or in independent activities, which includes responsibility for the municipality's upper secondary schools, adapted upper secondary school, elite sports upper secondary school (NIU and RIG) and the National Upper Secondary School for the Disabled (RH-gymnasium).
The Upper Secondary and Adult Education Administration is also responsible for Adult Education, which is intended to provide pupils, students and participants with a basis for further studies and/or vocational activities and the conditions for active employment or participation in society in general. The activities of the Upper Secondary and Adult Education Administration also include Labor Market and Integration, which is tasked with providing employment promotion measures and the reception of certain newly arrived immigrants for settlement. We consist of approximately 1000 employees, of which more than 50 are managers.

The administration's office employs around 30 people consisting of management, finance, HR and other important support functions who work together for the good and mission of the administration. The HR unit currently consists of an HR team of four dedicated HR resources. We support and help each other in our daily work in order to make a difference for our managers in the entire HR area.
Your tasks
As an HR partner, you will provide consultative support to the administration's operational managers, heads of unit and principals in the field of HR. You are responsible for HR support close to the business based on Umeå municipality's current guidelines, policies and procedures in order to ensure a common employer policy.
You will work broadly in the HR area with a focus on current skills supply issues, salary and terms and conditions issues. As an HR partner, you will also support managers in organizational and collaboration issues. Training and informing managers is part of the assignment, and as a representative of the administration you will also contribute to the development of current municipality-wide HR issues. The role of HR partner offers opportunities for personal responsibility, skills development and collegial knowledge exchange.
About you
We are now looking for you who have a university degree in HR. You have experience of qualified and broad HR work where you have acted as HR support to managers. You have good knowledge of IT and various HR / personnel administration systems. The position requires that you have a good knowledge of the Swedish language both in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have worked with collaboration, labor law and with wage formation issues. Experience from the public sector is also an advantage.
You are confident in your role as you will be a support to managers and others by virtue of your knowledge, your integrity and your credibility. As a person, you are driven, responsible and able to structure your work. As the assignment involves close cooperation with colleagues in your own and other administrations, it is important that you enjoy working together, are communicative both orally and in writing and have the ability to build good relationships. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
We would like you to have a B driving license.
