The elderly care administration houses the activities Your municipal home care, Care and care homes, Health care for the elderly and Investigation and prevention.
In addition, there are several support functions that work with, for example, finance, development issues and HR. The elderly care administration is headed by the elderly care director with approximately 2000 employees.
The elderly care HR unit works to provide support, advice and knowledge to managers within its own administration. Our mission is to represent the municipality's personnel policy with the aim of achieving a uniform approach to HR issues in both elderly care and the municipality as a whole.

About the assignment
As an HR strategist specializing in employment law, you are the administration's senior expert in qualified employment law issues. You provide support in complex cases, develop our labor law processes and ensure that the business balances employer responsibility, legislation and individual perspective in a professional and legally secure manner.
You will work closely with the Head of HR and other HR colleagues and be an obvious strategic partner for managers at all levels. The role also involves collaboration with the municipality's central Negotiation and Employment Law function and acting as a deputy to the Head of HR when necessary.

Your main tasks will be
Employment law advice and training
Provide qualified employment law advice to HR partners and managers in areas such as employment obligations, redeployment, misconduct, dismissals, redundancies and health and safety assessments. Leading and conducting training sessions for managers and HR colleagues. Guiding HR colleagues in complex HR matters.
Development of employment law processes
Lead the development of procedures and practices related to employment law procedures. Responsible for the development of working methods within the administration that are business-oriented and comply with current law. Drive improvement work in your specialist area.
Collaboration and trade union dialog
Supporting operational managers in co-determination negotiations. Contribute to professional and constructive relations with trade unions.
Cross-administrative development in HR and labor law
Work on strategic HR issues initiated politically or based on business needs. Work closely with the Head of HR, colleagues in the administration and HR functions in other parts of the municipality. Act as deputy to the HR Manager when needed.
Other strategic tasks
Participate in or lead projects in employer policy and HR strategic development areas.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Academic degree in behavioral sciences/human resources or equivalent education deemed equivalent. Several years of experience in qualified and independent labor law work. solid experience of cooperation and negotiation with trade unions very good written and oral communication skills
Meritorious:
Experience in the public sector. experience in managing development work or projects Advanced training in labor law. Experience in developing policies and making labor law assessments. Good system skills, preferably including Visma Personec and the Environmental Database
