We are now looking for an infrastructure specialist in MDM/endpoint management for Umeå Municipality’s DoIT (Digital Transformation and IT) department and our IDE (Infrastructure for Digital Devices) team.

About the Job
The IDE team is responsible for Umeå Municipality’s digital work tools through modern client management. This means we configure devices, manage policies and security settings, and ensure that operating systems and applications are kept up to date.
We also handle client procurement and license management and play a central role in creating a secure, stable, and efficient digital workplace for the entire municipality.
Your Responsibilities
You will work with the operation, development, and improvement of our MDM solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Intune and related platforms.
The work includes, among other things:
Troubleshooting and problem-solving in client and MDM environments; configuration of devices, profiles, and security settings; testing, packaging, and deployment of applications; automation and scripting (PowerShell) Monitoring industry trends and implementing new features and workflows

Qualifications
You have relevant education in IT or equivalent experience, as well as:
Knowledge of PowerShell, application packaging, and Microsoft cloud services (Azure/Entra/Defender) is a plus.
