Would you like to help develop a modern, secure, and stable IT environment that supports the municipality’s important public service mission? We are now looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist who wants to help ensure that our operations have a reliable and efficient IT platform.

Our division, Digital Transformation and IT, develops the municipality’s capacity for digital transformation with a broad range of expertise. Here you’ll find leaders, system developers, architects, and specialists in areas such as IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, service desk, development, and digitization—who together drive and coordinate the municipality’s journey into the future. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you’ll be part of the Infrastructure team, which is responsible for data centers, server platforms, cloud services, and IT security. We ensure stable, secure, and modern IT services for the entire municipality.

Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Operating and managing servers, storage, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Management of virtual infrastructure, such as VMware.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.
  • Work with IT security, access control, and security measures.
  • Participation in projects for the development and modernization of the IT environment.
  • Collaboration with business units, vendors, and external partners.
  • Documentation of systems, procedures, and processes.
  • Participation in on-call duty may be required.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A high school or college degree in IT.
  • Several years of experience working in IT infrastructure.
  • A Class B driver’s license.
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written Swedish.

The following are considered a plus for this position:

  • Certification in IT infrastructure, such as Microsoft, Linux, VMware, or equivalent.
