We are now seeking a physical therapist for Elderly Health and Medical Care, nursing and assisted living facilities.

Your Responsibilities

As a physical therapist in Elderly Care, you will provide rehabilitative care in close collaboration with other professionals. You will work to create the conditions that enable each individual to live as independently as possible. The role involves being responsible for evaluations, assessments, prescribing assistive devices, and follow-ups within the scope of the physical therapist’s profession. Supervising care staff is also an important part of the job.

About You

We are looking for a licensed physical therapist. Previous experience in municipal health and medical care within elder care is a plus. The position requires a good command of spoken and written Swedish. A Class B driver’s license is required for this position.

You are a positive and dedicated colleague who wants to help develop our organization. As a person, you have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working both in a team and independently. You have a professional attitude and a friendly demeanor. You are flexible, able to plan your workday, and have a strong ability to adapt to changes in the organization. Communication and record-keeping are a major part of the job, which means you need strong verbal and written communication skills. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Pets may be present in the workplace, so you should not have allergies.

  • A full-time temporary position, scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026, or as agreed, through February 28, 2027.
