We are looking for a manager for the Security Unit, a key function within the Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Preparedness at the City Management Office. The Security Unit is responsible for: crisis preparedness and civil defense information security, operational and security protection prevention of welfare crime insurance protection and loss prevention. About the role As Head of Unit, you will lead eleven committed employees in an organization that is constantly evolving in step with the outside world. You have responsibility for personnel, work environment and budget and report directly to the Director of Emergency Preparedness. You are part of the department's management team together with other managers and are an important part of the municipality's crisis management organization and TIB function. About you We are looking for a confident and strategic leader who can drive development and build trust. You have: relevant post-secondary education or experience as a manager in the security field proven experience as a manager with staff and work environment responsibilities ability to work strategically and translate plans into impact and capability enhancement experience in crisis management good understanding of policy-driven activities. It is an advantage if you have experience of strategic work with security, crisis preparedness and civil defense in the public sector, preferably a municipality or region. You are a trust-building and stable leader who builds your leadership on trust. You have a strong ability to drive issues forward, both independently and in close collaboration with others. With your positive and solution-oriented approach, you will be a valued collaborator, both internally and externally. You have the ability to create legitimacy and build trust in the municipal organization and in collaboration with external actors. You do this by combining sensitivity and clarity with excellent communication skills. Great importance is attached to your personal qualities.
