You will work together with seven dedicated colleagues and be part of a collaborative kitchen, which means that we jointly cover for each other in case of absence in neighboring kitchens. Now we are looking for a proud meal assistant to expand our team! Your tasks As a meal assistant with us, you work with all the usual tasks - both practical and creative. An important part of your role is to create colorful and nutritious salads that both inspire and attract good eating habits. The salad buffet is central to our meal and we would like you to enjoy working with variety, taste and seasonal ingredients. You will also be involved in the preparation of snacks - an appreciated and important part of the students' day. Other duties: Preparation and simple cooking Serving and setting up meals Washing up, cleaning and self-monitoring Food handling according to current procedures Treating students and colleagues in a service-oriented way Continuous improvement - we always want more! About you We are looking for you with at least a high school diploma, but we look positively if you also have training in catering / other restaurant training. You have a few years of experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferably with meals aimed at children and young people. As a person, we believe that you are flexible, responsible and problem-solving with good cooperation and communication skills. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing as the work is always done in close cooperation with guests and colleagues. Heavy lifting occurs in the workplace.
