Är du den rätta? The aim of the Elderly Council is for individuals to feel independent at home and for us to offer safe and secure care.
To achieve these goals, we work on the basis of four strategies: prevention, collaboration, digitization and skills supply. These strategies permeate the development work that exists in elderly care to take on the challenges we face. The elderly care staff consists of office and quality functions. The staff has an overall responsibility to keep the administration's work and processes together. We carry out the staff's assignments with various cutting-edge skills in collaboration and cooperation based on a good knowledge of operations with the citizen in focus. The staff is headed by a quality manager and a head of office. This role reports to the Head of Quality together with seven other quality functions.
An upcoming retirement and replacement for an employee who moves on to another position in the same unit, means that we are now looking for two safe medically responsible nurses!
Duties and responsibilities
As a medically responsible nurse, you have an overall responsibility for quality and patient safety in municipal health care, aimed at the activities that have a caregiver responsibility under the Health Care Act. Within the elderly care administration, this applies to Care and Nursing Homes and Health Care at Home.
Together with the medical management and in collaboration with employees in the operations, you will be responsible for the systematic and continuous development of quality in the operations. The assignment includes, among other things, work with deviations, risk and event analyses, notification according to Lex Maria, safe medication management and delegation, as well as documentation. You have a key role in internal and external collaboration and are expected to provide expert guidance to employees, managers and politicians.
The position also includes development and quality work on health care issues, such as issues related to person-centeredness, preventive work in line with close care and other patient safety issues that are in line with the Elderly Board's development areas.
Collegial cooperation takes place with several people within the unit, including the medical officer for rehabilitation (MAR), the social coordinator (SAS) and the development strategist. Cooperation outside the unit takes place with heads of operations and directors, as well as with the region and other authorities. Cooperation is therefore a key word!
About you
Of course, you are interested in, familiar with and driven by development issues and evidence-based care, and have an interest in the development of the municipality's patient safety work. In the assignment, you need to be sensitive to the different needs that exist in the business and have a solution-focused approach.
