The HR Department of the City Management Office is the municipality's strategic and operational function for overall employer issues. We are responsible for ensuring that HR policy is known and uniformly applied throughout the organization. The department leads, coordinates and monitors work on skills supply, management development, work environment, health, labor law and wage formation as well as salary and pension administration. In total, we are about 90 employees who together provide support to the political leadership and the municipality's administrations. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the operations and the trade unions. About the job We are looking for a responsible and confident negotiator to join our team during a period of overlapping planned absences. You will work both strategically and operationally with everything from developing contractual and negotiation work to consulting colleagues in individual personnel matters. An important part of the assignment is to build and nurture collaborative relationships with colleagues and trade union organizations. You contribute to a good climate of cooperation and are a valued colleague who strengthens colleagues' expertise in labor law and employer issues. The assignment includes being involved in all areas of responsibility and focus of the team. This means, among other things, that: Providing qualified advice on labor law and contractual issues. Participating in interest and dispute negotiations. Carrying out investigations on behalf of the Municipal Executive Board and the Staff Committee. Contributing to the development of working methods together with the HR functions of the administrations. participating in the salary-setting process Another important part of the role of negotiator is to train, skill and consult colleagues and to work with targeted communication. A strategic task is to develop processes, procedures and system support that make it easy to understand and work with our processes. About you We are looking for you who have: Relevant university degree in HR or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Advanced training in labor law is an advantage. Experience and ability to interpret and apply labor law and to draft local collective agreements. Experience in providing qualified employment law advice and recommendations on complex issues. Experience in trade union representation and negotiation. Experience in leading and coordinating large, inter-organizational processes. We would like you to have experience from the public sector and a politically governed organization. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are confident and work in a consultative and strategic manner, with an approach based on trust and long-term cooperation. You are quality conscious and take responsibility for independently driving processes forward. You are thorough, responsive, solution-focused and have good teaching and communication skills.
