Work tasks Within Umeå municipality, you work as a nurse with independent responsibility for health care interventions for our care recipients. Our tasks include telephone advice, medical assessments, prescriptions and palliative care. We work from a shared office and carry out unplanned and planned interventions in ordinary housing and nursing homes within elderly and disability care. About you We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and have experience in the profession. We would like to see that you have experience of working in home care and / or elderly care, as well as specialist training with a focus on districts or care of the elderly, but this is not a requirement. Furthermore, for the service you need to have a B-driving license and unhindered knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. As a nurse in the municipality, you, together with your colleagues, have the highest medical competence in the business. The role therefore requires you to be confident in taking responsibility, have good initiative and actively contribute to clear and professional communication in collaboration with other professional groups. You meet care recipients, relatives and partners with a good, respectful and professional treatment. We attach great importance to personal suitability. The workplace may have furry animals and people who smoke, so you should not be allergic. You may have to move around, but assistive devices are available. Working hours are evening and night with duty every 3rd weekend. Working time reduction with weekly working hours 32 hours.
