Your Responsibilities

We are a team of nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. As a nurse, you’ll be responsible for health and medical care within your area of expertise at residential facilities for people with disabilities who have LSS decisions. The target group consists primarily of adults with some form of disability—a fantastic group to work with! You’ll be responsible for ensuring that medical interventions are effective for our clients and for coordinating contact with doctors and other professionals in primary care and the Region. The role involves supervising both small and large teams of staff.

Working hours are during the day, with weekend shifts approximately every sixth weekend.

You have a strong ability to work independently while actively contributing to effective teamwork with various professional disciplines. You recognize the value of person-centered care and approach your work with the understanding that the individual is an important and central part of the planning and implementation of care interventions.

You treat others with respect and professionalism and are attentive and open in your interactions with both service users and their loved ones. You collaborate well with others and contribute to effective communication and cooperation both within the organization and with external stakeholders. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Registered nurse
• Class B driver’s license
• Good command of spoken and written Swedish and English, so that you can communicate with clients, family members, and colleagues, as well as to write and review care documentation

Heavy lifting is required; patient-handling equipment must be used. Smoking and pets are present in the workplace, so you should not have allergies.
